Minutes of the February 11, 2006 meeting of the Weld Amateur Radio Society
- Meeting called to order by Rob, KA0VNB at 9:00AM.
- Those members in attendance introduced themselves.
- Last month minutes were unavailable.
- Berry, N0OYM presented the treasurer's report.
- Rob, KA0VNB gave a report of the Boy Scouts merit badge activities on January 28th. The next merit badge activity is scheduled for February 25th.
- Rob, KA0VNB and Berry, N0OYM provided an ARES update:
- Next Face to Face meeting is scheduled for February 25th @ 1:00PM at the Windsor Fire Station.
- NWS Spotter Training is scheduled for May 6th.
- Six meetings are planned for the year: Jan., Feb., Mar., Apr. (maybe), Sep., and Oct. All meetings are scheduled for the fourth Saturday of the month.
- Guess speakers may appear at some of the meetings
- The new 2 meter repeater was sent to Hamtronics for repair.
- Cliff, W0ITD provided:
- An update on the new Red Cross Building.
- The Salvation Army may have a space available for club meetings.
- Suggested that the first clear day, the club should get the antennas down from the old Red Cross building.
- More salvage equipment may be available for the club's fund raising efforts.
- Three tables were reserved for the club for the ARA Swapfest.

- Mike, KC0FNE asked for one volunteer to help with the comm van for the next merit badge event.
