Minutes of the July 14, 2007 meeting of the Weld Amateur Radio Society
- Meeting called to order by Rob KA0VNB at 9:12 am
- Minutes from last meeting approved with correction
- Berry N0OYM provided the treasury’s report
- Berry N0OYM provided a report of the repeaters:
- Stan K0KZA indicated that the cabinet is ready, are working on getting it to the site.
- Electricity use is steady at 9-10 dollars/month
- 2M put on notch cavity for frequency of Denver club. Have not heard anything else from Denver club
- 440 repeater ok
- Have not approached Ginny yet about repeater.
- Berry NO0YM working with Ginny to get phone line transferred
- Berry will be contact for Bud Stanley
- Win K8GYC- motion to disconnect phone line- motion passed
- Rob KA0VNB- Received letter from school district-interested in more contact from the club
- Bill W0AVH- May be some interest in radio at UNC
- Could also approach Cub Scouts for Jamboree
- Discussed Ted’s motion to waive club dues- dues will remain in place for this year
