Minutes of the September 8, 2007 meeting of the Weld Amateur Radio Society

- Berry N0OYM provided a report of the repeaters:
- Electricity use is steady at 14 dollars/month
- Received email from Denver-they keep hearing the clubs repeater ID, threatened to call FCC. Put the Hamtronics repeater up and have not heard anything since. Rob KA0VNB suggested trying to find out what time of the day the issue is occurring. Could be possible interference from pager tower. Stan K0KZA suggested trying to find an intermod program to try and diagnose issue, FCC or AARL may be able to help find one.
- Have not approached Ginny yet about 440 repeater.
- Mike KC0FNE is moving out of state and needs help taking down antenna. Also need storage/donation options for AIMS equipment.
- Denver hamfest featured seminars on digital communication, grounding and radio repair. Powerpoint presentations of the seminars are available.
- Barcfest Sept 23 Boulder County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 6am to vendors, 8am to public.
- Berry N0OYM- no additional progress on business cards for testing sessions.
- Jamboree on air 2nd week in October. If interested, stop by Scout office, which is open odd Saturdays.
- Will need to look for volunteers for school presentations.
