Minutes of the July 12, 2008 meeting of the Weld Amateur Radio Society

• Meeting called to order by Rob KA0VNB at 9:17am
• Minutes from last meeting approved with correction, did not mention field day.
• Berry N0OYM-Treasurers report
• Will speak to Bud and Rob Stanley about arrangements on new towers
• Berry N0OYM provided a report of the repeaters:
• Berry N0OYM has repaired Hamtronics repeater
• Ted WA0HLJ is out of town for a few weeks
• Club is without duplexers at the moment-will shop for new one
• Need prices for cable, antennas and duplexers. Berry can email and post information regarding club purchases so members can see what is going on.
• Discussed other options for replacing equipment and discussed where could be stored at repeater site
• Tech Committee: Berry N0OYM, Stan K0KZA, Rob KA0VNB, Win K8GYC and Ted WA0HLJ

• Old Business:
• ARES Meeting at 1pm
• Rob KA0VNBvisited W0BSA station
• Can contact Ted Black if interested in Boy Scouts

• New Business:
• Courage Classic at end of July. Talk to Ed Gage or look up on Google.
• Elections
• Berry N0OYM moved that all current officers maintain their positions. Motion passed.
• Stan K0KZA no longer wants role of trustee, Berry N0OYM will assume the role.
