Minutes of the September 13, 2008 meeting of the Weld Amateur Radio Society

• Meeting called to order by Rob KA0VNB at 9:10am
• Minutes from last meeting approved with corrections
• Berry N0OYM-Treasurers report
• Berry N0OYM provided a report of the repeaters:
• Repeater, cans and antenna will be put up this afternoon. Volunteers will be appreciated
• 1 Antenna will be running two repeaters

• Old Business:
• Rob KA0VNB- DNC went well
• Supporting  agencies were requesting that volunteers wear uniforms for identification
• National Medical Disaster Exercise- transport of earthquake victims from Utah to front range hospitals
• Sept 25th HamFest Boulder co fairgrounds
• ARES face to face Sept 13, 2008 Loveland Police Station
• Discussed options for electric meter and backup power for repeater
• Rob KA0VNB discussed being part of packet backbone at some point in the future.
