Minutes of the June 13, 2009 meeting of the Weld Amateur Radio Society
- Meeting called to order by Rob KA0VNB at 9:20
- Introductions around the room
- Minutes from last meeting approved
- Treasurer’s report Berry N0OYM
- Repeater report Berry N0OYM
- Repeaters are up and running
- 147 has an issue-will work on it
- Have not had chance to listen to 440-will look at it for desense issue
- Have antenna/coax for IRLP, just need to get it up, will do after meeting
- Cans have not been looked at, will retrieve them and have OJ take a look
- Old Business:
- OJ still looking for VE’s 2nd Saturday of the month at Greeley Police Dept
- Rob got letter from Elder Garden as result of Greeley Trib online ad. Interested in having demos or other activities
- Tabled for next meeting to see if there is any interest
- We are allowed to use the projector in the fire house for presentations
- High plains DX s still welcoming people who would like to use equipment Monday evenings
- Estes Park ham fest went well
- New Business:
- Valley Ham Shack 4321 W Eisenhauer Blvd in Loveland- new Ham Store grand opening in a week or two

- Peter-Ft Collins radio club looking for new home-Golden Corral closed
- Looking for projects demos can do at club meetings
- Rob has pamphlet from Ham Con if anyone wants to look at it
- Membership dues are due next month and elections will be then
